The Government of Belize has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) under the “Sustainable Tourism Program II” (STPII), and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments for the consulting services for a Market Study for Prospect Mexican Tourist Market for Overnight Tourism in Belize. The main purpose of this consultancy is to increase market intelligence related to the Mexico Outbound Travel Market to Belize and provide an understanding of current and future consumer demand and awareness of the Belize Tourism Product. This will include establishing motivational and decision-making factors influencing the decision to visit or not to visit Belize, and means of preferred travel to Belize. The Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation, now invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the services.
