As the Ministry responsible for governance of the tourism sector, the Ministry of Tourism and Diaspora Relations is responsible for providing work permit applicants in the tourism sector with a letter of support to their applications. Work permits are issued to foreigners who wish to work in Belize. Before issuing a letter of support, the Ministry of Tourism conducts a vetting process of the applicant and requests a list of information and documents.
