The Belize Diaspora Relations Unit (DRU) operates under the Ministry of Tourism, Youth, Sports, Sports and Diaspora Relations, serving as the primary body responsible for strengthening engagement between Belize and its global diaspora community.
Mission
To engage, connect, and empower Belizeans living abroad through meaningful partnership, creating opportunities for the diaspora to contribute to the sustainable development of Belize while maintaining strong ties to home.
Vision
An inclusive and participatory Belizean society where every Belizean contributes to national development and shares in the benefits thereof, notwithstanding place of residency.
